Film-maker's bio

Oscar is an accomplished filmmaker from Colombia who has been making films and documentaries for more than ten years. He has a degree in Social Communication and has worked with a range of media including print media, radio and film. He has represented Colombia on various occasions at international film festivals.

About six years ago Oscar branched into the field of social documentary making and successfully created a number of documentaries for community organizations and international NGOs.

For the last three years Oscar has also been focusing his interest and talent on other types of films. Wanting to work on a more personal basis with individuals and their families, he has been working on documentary style films set around events and occasions, to capture and tell a story about the special and significant moments in people’s lives. He has worked on a number of different events, including weddings, family reunions and cultural celebrations.
